The Apple TV+ espionage-thriller series Slow Horses pulls in big audiences. It gets more viewers than almost anything else on streaming, according to a pair of market analyses.
Apple TV+ actually has two very popular series streaming now. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is also near the top of the rating charts.
Slow Horses is No. 4 most popular streaming show
Apple TV+ faces tough competition from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and others, but the streaming service nevertheless manages to keep putting out shows that draw in huge numbers of viewers.
Add now Slow Horses is on its list of hits. It was No. 4 on ReelGood’s list of Top 10 TV Shows on streaming during the week of November 30 through December 6. And the thriller also came in at No. 4 on JustWatch‘s list of top streaming series for the week ending December 3, the most recent data available.
Estimates from ReelGood and JustWatch are necessary because streaming services don’t reveal how many people tune into their films or series.
For those not already watching, Slow Horses stars Oscar winner Gary Oldman as a brilliant but world-weary cold warrior leading a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department for MI5. Each of the spies ended up together due to career-ending mistakes.
This is the third season of the series, and the applause by critics has never stopped. Season three has a 97% approval rating on the review-aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, while season two pulled in a 100% approval rating.
The first three episodes of Slow Horses season three are available to stream from Apple TV+ now. And the two earlier seasons can be bingewatched.

The official description says:
“Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga — spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.”
