OnePlus today revealed the design of its upcoming OnePlus Pad Go tablet. Following seven months after the release of its first ever tablet, the OnePlus Pad, the Pad Go seems like a cheaper variant.
As of now, we don’t really have any concrete details other than what is visible in the image. The design and even the dimensions seem very similar to that of the OnePlus Pad, with curved corners and thin bezels on the front. The biggest difference is that the back now has a two-tone finish while still being largely made out of aluminum.
The OnePlus Pad Go also shares the color with the OnePlus Pad, although it’s not the same exact shade of green, instead opting for a lighter tone. The spun metal finish on the back is also gone.
After a cursory glance around the edges, we can see that the OnePlus Pad Go has the same physical button combination of power and volume buttons. There still seem to be four speakers, one near each corner. Interestingly, the Pad Go has a slot of some sort, either for expandable storage, SIM, or both.
The name and the ‘All Play, All Day’ tagline suggest this model may be more focused on battery life, likely with a slower chipset and lower refresh rate display, while otherwise being similar to the OnePlus Pad.
OnePlus is expected to announce more details soon but we don’t yet know when the device will be officially announced and sold.
