MacOS Sonoma Release Candidate 2 is available to download

MacOS Sonoma Release Candidate 2 is available for Mac users involved in the beta testing programs for macOS Sonoma system software. The RC 2 build is 23A344, and is available for both developer beta and public beta testers. It’s likely that this RC 2 build matches the final version of macOS Sonoma, which is set to be released next week on September 26 to all Mac users.

MacOS Sonoma includes a variety of new features and improvements to MacOS, including a redesigned Lock Screen, widgets on the Mac desktop to easily see things like weather reports or your calendar, a fancy moving wallpaper feature, over 100 new screen savers and wallpapers, FaceTime Video voicemail support, Safari Profiles, improvements to autocorrect, and much more.

Aside from the macOS Sonoma RC 2 build, which is technically still in the beta track, Apple device users will find other software updates with security enhancements available for macOS Ventura, macOS Monterey, along with updates for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
