Here’s the entire process of downloading, installing, and running Zoom on the Mac:

  1. Click here to go to the Zoom download page directly, it will automatically detect that you’re on a Mac (otherwise, you can usually find the Zoom download links under the “Resources” tab on their site)
  2. Where to download Zoom on the Zoom website

  3. Now you have two options, depending on if your Mac is an Intel Mac or Apple Silicon Mac:
  • If you have an Apple Silicon Mac, click the the tiny blue ‘here’ text in the “Or, for Macs with Apple Silicon chips, click here to download” phrase
  • If you have an Intel Mac, click the big blue “Download” button
  • In your Downloads folder, open “zoomInstallerFull.pkg” and run through the standard installation steps by clicking Continue to install Zoom
  • Installing Zoom for Mac

  • Zoom will now be installed on the Mac, you can find it in the /Applications folder, or open it through Launchpad, or Spotlight
  • Optionally, if you use Zoom often, go to the /Applications folder and drag Zoom into the Dock to keep it there for easy access
