You can now add Crunchyroll to your Prime Video subscription as a new channel, letting you access the streaming service’s extensive anime library without having to switch apps.
The new distribution agreement between Amazon and Crunchyroll was announced on Tuesday. Prime Video users can now subscribe to Crunchyroll directly through the Prime Video store, choosing from its $8 per month Fan membership or its $10 per month Mega Fan membership.
There’s no difference in price if you choose to subscribe through Prime Video rather than go directly to Crunchyroll. Even so, the option to go through Amazon might at least help you declutter your smart TV apps.
Crunchyroll is currently available as a Prime Video Channel in the U.S., UK, Canada, and Sweden, with more territories to be added next year. The deal also brings Crunchyroll’s new 24/7 linear channel to Amazon Freevee, allowing anyone in the U.S. to watch a curated schedule of anime free with ads.

Both of Crunchyroll’s Fan and Mega Fan subscriptions offer ad-free access to the service’s collection of over 1300 anime series and films, however the latter also includes offline viewing and allows streaming on up to four devices.
Crunchyroll’s current Fall 2023 lineup of new titles includes series such as SPY X FAMILY Season 2, JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2, and Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2. The streaming service offers older series alongside these as well, including Sailor Moon Crystal, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and the new 2023 adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin. Its free linear channel’s lineup includes PSYCHO–PASS, Horiyama, Code Geass, and Ranking of Kings, though it is subject to change. All of Crunchyroll’s anime is subtitled, with some of its more popular titles also dubbed in English.
