We deal with a lot of heavy stuff as adults. Unfortunately, some of the heavy stuff is unavoidable. But some of it is within our control. If you’ve been lugging around a heavy laptop for years, give your back a break with this deal on a lightweight model.
As of Nov. 21, the Acer Swift Go 16-inch laptop is just $549.99 at Amazon, down from its regular price of $799.99. That’s a savings of $250. While Acer’s own early Black Friday sales have already dropped, this model is still hanging out at full price, which makes the deal at Amazon that much more satisfying to grab.
Weighing just a bit over 3.5 pounds, the Acer Swift Go 16 is slightly more than half an inch thick. Thankfully, that’s still enough room for two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI port, and a MicroSD slot. Our sister publication PCMag (owned by Mashable’s publisher Ziff Davis) gave the Acer Swift Go 16 an excellent rating in their review of the laptop. Highlights include the display and sturdy metal build, which is always useful if your laptop ends up in a tote bag or backpack.
The Acer Swift Go 16 has an Intel Core i5-1335U processor, the current 13th generation. It also has 8GB of RAM which is ideal for multitasking. The 16-inch display uses a 16:10 aspect ratio and the Intel Wireless Wi-Fi 6E AX211 supports Wi-Fi from both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. This model also comes with a backlit keyboard which makes typing in low-light situations much easier on the eyes.
If you’re looking for a more portable and lightweight laptop for your everyday tasks, the Acer Swift Go 16 is up for the job and currently selling for a steal of a price.
