Apple Unveils iPhone 15 Lineup, Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2

With the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple has switched to a titanium casing for a lighter overall weight. Another new feature on the exterior of the both models is a Action button that replaces the previous mute switch.

You can choose from a wide variety of option for the button including starting a Focus mode, starting Voice Memos, and more.

Apple has also shifted from a Lightning connector to USB-C connector on the new handsets.

Both phones use the A17 Pro chip, the first 3-nanometer chip in a smartphone. The CPU is up to 10 percent faster with the Neural Engine is up to twice as fast. The GPU uses a new 6-core design and is up to 20 percent faster.

And it shouldn’t come as a surprise, but there are also a number of camera improvements. The headlining feature is a new 5x telephoto camera lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The main camera allows you to switch between three focal lengths—24mm, 28mm, and 35mm. You can also select a default option.

There’s now no need to switch to Portrait mode. Both models can detect when a person, dog, or cat is in the frame. When you tap to focus, it automatically captures depth info

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will be available to order on Friday with shipment arriving next week on Friday, September 22.

Both models will be available in black titanium, white titanium, natural titanium, and blue titanium.

You can purchase the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro starting at $999 for a 128GB model. The iPhone 15 Pro Max, with a 6.7-inch screen, starts at $1199 for a 256GB version.
