Tozo is a reapidly growing brand in the mobile accessories market and its earbuds have been getting praise across Amazon for a while now. Enter the Tozo X1 Golden – the company’s most premium Hi-res wireless earbuds with LDAC support and active noise cancelation. The X1 Golden, in particular, has amassed a 4.7-star rating on Amazon and we’ve now received our review unit to see if they live up to their claims. Before that here’s a quick unboxing and first impressions.
X1 Golden come in a sleek box which unfolds to reveal the earbuds’ key specs. The box contains the buds, their charging case, a USB-C cable for charging and five pairs of silicone eartips ranging from size S to XXL so you’re bound to find a pair that works well with your ears. X1 Golden are also IPX6 splashproof so you’re good to use them at the gym.
The buds feature a sleek matte black design with short stems. Each earbud packs 12mm dynamic driver covering a wide frequency range from 12Hz to 44.1kHz. Thanks to the LDAC codec support, X1 Golden can stream 24bit/96khz music. They pair over Bluetooth 5.3 to any device and also feature active noise cancelation capable of up to 42 dB.
The charging case has a built-in LED display to show your battery charge and it can charge via USB-C and wirelessly on a Qi-compatible charger. Tozo claims 32 hours of playback with the case which we’ll make sure to test in our full review.
