New detailed renders detail the more extensive changes Apple is planning for the iPhone 15 Pro series. Leaked CADs have already revealed the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro design.
This includes a bigger camera hump, slightly more compact dimensions, curved edges for the titanium chassis and more.
iPhone 15 Pro might pack major design changes
The stunning renders created by Ian Zelbo are based on all the latest iPhone 15 Pro leaks. They highlight the iPhone 15 Pro’s bigger camera hump. Even more noticeable is the camera lens protrusion, which will seemingly jut out more than twice that of the iPhone 14 Pro.
Seemingly, the iPhone 15 Pro will have a smaller protrusion. This could be because the phone is rumored to have slightly different camera specs than the Max model.

The renders show the purported unified capacitive button on the iPhone 15 Pro’s right side. Rumors indicate Apple could make this key customizable like the Apple Watch Ultra’s Action button. Apple will also ditch the mute switch in favor of a capacitive button. To power these buttons, the company plans to add two new haptic engines inside the phone.
Another report previously revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro would use a new microprocessor to power the capacitive buttons.
iPhone 15 Pro’s will have smaller front bezels
Apple is rumored to switch to a titanium chassis on the iPhone 15 Pro lineup this year. The renders show the titanium chassis with curved edges, which should aid ergonomics. They also showcase the USB-C port at the bottom.
While the iPhone 15 Pro will retain the same 6.1-inch display size as its predecessor, it will have slightly compact dimensions. This will be due to the reduction in the front bezels.
Based on the images, Apple is planning on giving the iPhone 15 Pro a significant design overhaul. The bigger camera hump also looks interesting, suggesting a major jump in imaging performance could be on the cards this year.
