Announced during Apple’s jam-packed Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote on Monday, June 5, the new 15-inch MacBook Air upgrades its 13-inch predecessor with a bigger display and two extra speakers. (It retains the same M2 chip, 18-hour battery life, and quiet, fanless design.) Amazon wasted no time in putting it on sale: You can pre-order the 256GB base model there for $1,249.99, which is about $50 off its MSRP and its first discount to date.
If you happen to be a student, teacher, or school staff member, reserve it directly through the Apple Store instead for a $100 education discount and a free $150 gift card during its Back to School sale (live until Monday, Oct. 2).
