And the app has just been updated with an entirely new and feature-rich experience for your Apple Watch.
The new design on the Apple Watch will allow you to easily add and edit events directly from the device, a first for the app. You can also reply to invites on the Apple Watch, a big plus for when you don’t want to pull out an iPhone.
To help you make better use of the new app, Readdle has designed six new Apple Watch faces featuring complications from the Calendars app. The new faces offer everything from information-rich to a more relaxing option with a smaller calendar notification.
You can read about all of Readdle’s options and download them directly from the company’s blog post.
If you add one of those options, it will be added to your watch and won’t overwrite any other customized face.
Complications from the app are also available to add to faces you’ve already designed
In the app itself, you can now select from two calendar views. Along with an agenda list there is also the option to view a minimalistic view of your month. You can quickly switch between either view.
For added use, there is also a task list view so you can mark complete, edit, or delete them. On the watch, you can also add reminders.
Calendars is a free download for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
There is a Pro subscription available for $19.99 annually or $3.99 per month. There is a free, 7-day trial period available.
Subscribers can unlock a number of additional features including multiple calendar accounts, natural language input of events, reminder, weather updates, and a slate of other additional interesting calendars like sports event and holidays.
