The new title combines both a collectible card game and RPG. On the CCG side, as you progress in the game, you can gather new spells and charms to use in duels with foes and elsewhere throughout Hogwarts.
You can select from 1v1, 2v2, and other special limited-time game modes. You’ll battle against witches and wizards in The Dueling Club for rewards. Working together with other classmates, you can combine cards to create better spell combinations.
Each spell is represented by a card in your collection. After progressing far enough, you’ll be able to create a deck for every occasion.
On the RPG side, you’ll play a students attending Hogwarts 10 years after the Battle of Hogwarts. A unique narrative will play out as you advance. You can talk with familiar faces and new students to uncover the mystery.
And that’s far from all. You can even attend classes to improve your spells and teamwork. Each class features a unique mini-game that can be played for rewards. In the History of Magic, you’ll answer questions about the wizarding world. In Potions, you’ll create options with the rare ingredients found while exploring.
Since the game is also an MMO, you can also see other witches and wizards attending school at the same time. There are a number of activities to share with others like share a dorm, navigating the Forbidden Forest, and twirling in the dance club. Exploring the magical world is a great way to find unique abilities.
