It saw three characters from the show—Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight—showing up to fight on the side of humanity.
Now there’s another collaboration underway with the same hilariously gory TV show, this time involving the characters A-Train, Soldier Boy, and Homelander.
We’ll explore what this latest superheroic incursion means for Last Fortress shortly. First, here’s a quick recap for the uninitiated.
Last Fortress: Underground is a survival game set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. It centers around the remnants of humanity, huddled together in the titular underground stronghold.
Your job, as commander, is to keep a community of survivors safe and prosperous by upgrading your fortress, scavenging in the surrounding wasteland, training soldiers, acquiring heroes, and winning all of your zombie fights.
Combat in Last Fortress is a sophisticated affair. Heroes come with their own unique strengths and abilities, and they all synergize with each other in different ways, creating the scope for countless combinations.
Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight were fixtures in Last Fortress during the last collaboration event, standing alongside players in battle. They’re making a welcome return in this event, though it’s less clear how welcome A-Train, Soldier Boy, and Homelander are likely to be.
There are 70 time-limited items in the new collaboration event, including a fortress skin, a new vehicle called Hero Rally, an exclusive A-Train skin, and more.
Plus, there are several events, both in-game and on the Last Fortress social media channels, with loads of rewards up for grabs.
