It’s Time to Hit the Pillow and Play Pokémon Sleep

The new game Pokémon Sleep gives you something fun to enjoy after waking up. Instead of having to travel around your city, you can catch the fantastical creatures by just sleeping.

Every night, place your smartphone by your pillow to record and measure your sleep. Just make sure not to place it under a pillow or blanket where it might overheat.

In the morning, depending on how long you sleep, the more Pokémon will appear around Snorlax. Each night of sleep will be classified as one of three different styles—dozing, snoring, or slumbering.

You’ll see Pokémon each morning that sleep in similar ways. Each Pokémon has a number of different sleep styles, so you can try to discover a number of different creatures to sleep your Sleep Style Dex.

Make sure to raise Snorlax big and strong. It will grow larger by receiving berries from the Pokémon after each night’s sleep. The more you raise Snorlaix, the greater chance you’ll find Pokémon with rare sleep styles.

After sleeping you’ll also see a report with information like how long you took to fall asleep, how long you spent in different sleep stages, and wether you snored or talked while sleeping.

And to help you get to sleep, you can have Pokémon inspired music to help relax you and smart alarms that will wake you in a shallow stage of sleep.

If you’ve already purchase the Pokémon GO Plus+, there’s no need to worry about your smartphone. Just press the central button on the tracker and then place it by your pillow. That will connect to your smartphone and the app. As and added bonus, Pikachu’s voice can give your prompts when it is time to wake up or go to sleep.

Pokémon Sleep is a free download now on the App Store. It’s only for the iPhone. There are a number of in-app purchases available.
