The unique game brings you to Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary (and titular) Bugsnax. They are half bug and half snack.
You were invited by explorer Elizabert Megafig. But when you arrive she is nowhere to be found with her camp in disarray. All of her followers are scattered around the island, and quite hungry.
So it’s up to you to save the day and solve the mystery of the Island. You’ll need to find out what happened to Lizbert and more about the Bugsnax and why they are so tasty.
While playing, you will discover, hunt, and capture all 100 different species of Bugsnax with both contraptions and bait.
Head to the island’s diverse island to track down and reunite the residents of Snaxburg.
Even though you won’t be chowing down, you can feed your news friends with Bugsnax to customize them with fun and new looks.
The game also features a number of side quests that will take you off the beaten path where you can test your skills against fearsome and supersize Bugsnax.
To make your own hut comfortable and cozy, you can complete challenges from your mailbox to collect decorations. Those will even allow you to put hats on your favorite Bugsnax.
Bugsnax is a $9.99 download on the App Store now. It’s for the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
Along with being touchscreen compatible, the game is also compatible with controllers including DualSense, DualShock, Xbox, Switch Pro, and MFi.
DualSense and DualShock users will definitely be in for a treat as the game supports the light bar, adaptive trigger, and rumble support.
There are also a number of tweaks to change the max FPS performance and other options.
