Apple Watch Telegram Client Pigeon Updated With Stickers, Voice Messaging

The full-featured client uses the official Telegram interface for the same level of secure communication.

And instead of plain text messages, you’ll see all the formatting as intend ended including bold, italics, and more.

You’ll also be able to see GIFs, photos, video, and more sent from friends or in the channel. Zoom in to get a closer look in photos.

Other features include web link previews, folder supports, and paged chats lists.

Using the app just takes a few steps. Open up the official Telegram iOS app, scan the QR code on the watch. If you have two-step verification set up, you will also have to enter your password.

The app has just received its first major update, adding two new features in version 1.1. With the addition of stickers, you can show friends and family how you are feeling. You can now also send voice messages to others.

Using the new complications, available in two sizes, you can quickly launch the app from a watch face.

In the update, you can now vote for a poll preference or answer quizzes from the Apple Watch.

Notifications are now also grouped by app rather than chat. That brings the ability to view earlier message notifications without having to open the app.

A new Condensed messaging mode can be switched on in Settings. That will show an interface that is more conventional to other IM apps with a focus on text messaging.

Pigeon is is a free download on the App Store for free.

You’ll need a subscription to unlock a number of features including the ability to go to the next page of the chat list, view older messages, send messages, and reactions/replies.

There is a monthly subscription option for $1.99 or a yearly subscription for $12.99.
