Last year, Anker debuted its new SOLIX line of portable power stations, expanding its already excellent offerings to serve homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts better. Kicking off CES 2024, it’s doing just that with the all-new Anker C800 Plus Portable Power Station with built-in lighting and accessories.
We came away impressed when we reviewed the Anker SOLIX C1000 late last year. Then, the company followed up with the massive F3800 that can run RVs and charge EVs. Building on that success, the latest Anker C800 Plus is a 5-in-1 (1200W) portable power station unlike any other. Sure, it’ll power all your favorite gadgets, charge your phone, and keep things powered up, but that’s not all.
Being part of Anker’s camping series, the top of the SOLIX C800 Plus doubles as a storage compartment where you’ll find accessories perfect for any campsite or outdoor adventure. Inside, there’s a telescopic pole that owners can extend over 3 feet, then attach a battery-powered lantern, hang clothes or LED lights, and it doubles as a selfie stick or tripod.
The top is adjustable with a uni-ball mount, letting you get any angle necessary for photos, videos, or attaching accessories. It’s a neat idea, and I’m surprised no one thought of it sooner. Power stations are excellent for camping, so bundling other accessories to improve outdoor experiences further makes sense.
As for specs, the Anker C800 Plus packs a large 768Wh (1200W) LiPO4 battery lasting over 3,000 recharge cycles. Like other power stations from the brand, you’ll enjoy five 120V 3-prong AC outlets to power large devices or appliances, along with two USB-C and two USB-A ports, a DC cigarette port, and a built-in 3-stage LED camp lightbar.
With Anker’s PowerSurge technology, it’ll temporarily surge to 1600W to run power-hungry devices, yet can charge from 0-100 percent in under an hour. It also supports 300W solar charging. And finally, it comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to control everything with the Anker smartphone app, available on iOS or Android.
The all-new Anker C800 Plus camping portable power station should be available in March, but the exact date and pricing will arrive later.
