Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games are releasing a physical version of the Star Wars Heritage Pack (2023) in North America, which includes seven classic Star Wars titles from over the years.
The physical version will launch on 8th December 2023. It’ll cost $59.99, and pre-orders are open now at all major retailers including Amazon and Target. This is a rerelease of the Star Wars Heritage Pack (2023) which launched on the North American eShop earlier this year.
There are the seven titles you’ll be getting if you pick this up. Note that five are on the cartridge, while the Knights of the Old Republic games will need to be downloaded:
What surprised us most is the price point — $59.99 for seven games isn’t bad at all, but buying the game physically is actually cheaper than grabbing it off the eShop, where it costs $79.99 at the time of writing this. You can also get the collection on the European eShop for £68.09, but a physical release hasn’t been announced for this side of the pond.

If I didn’t already have the physical copies of the double packs of Racer/Commando & Jedi Academy/Jedi Outcast I’d totally jump on this!
Ooooh, I got Racer and Jedi Outcast digitally on sale awhile back, but 5 of the games being on cart is tempting. Might import this.
I already have both KOTOR games, Republic Commando and Episode I Racer so I’ll probably pass on this one.
Nonetheless it’s an awesome value, and I really hope we see more of this. So many collections of N64/GC/Wii-era games only include 2-3 games when more (sometimes many more) could easily be included.
I wish the KOTOR games would get a normal (not limited edition) physical release. I’d like to play them but that file size…
Was never really interested in star-wars (funny since I’m a space lover) but having 7 games in one is pretty cool (even if you have to download 2) and I wish more companies would do these mega-3d-collections cough cough Sonic 3d collection cough *cough
I own 3 of these, but would prefer a physical collection. So……
I was about to start cussing till I read the ‘does not include the KotoR games’. Those are still prizes in my physical collection.
Wow, this is one hell of a good deal.
Saw this appear a few days ago at my to-go retailer, thinking that it would just be a code-in-a-box.
I live in Europe, so it’s gonna get a release here as well.
I have each of these from when LRG released them individually. It’s unfortunate the KotOR games are download-only, but they would’ve put the file size close to 40GB anyhow and nobody uses 64GB cartridges, not even Nintendo themselves.
Still hoping for the classic battlefront and rogue squadron games some day. Also wouldn’t mind the original lego star wars games.
This is tempting. I own KOTOR on mobile but I haven’t touched any of the others. May have to get this.
I feel bad for Switch owners who will have to deal with the mess that is Kotor 2.
Oh, wow that is a great price, for a great collection of titles, and physical too? Sold!
Torius Chord approved. ????
Just Let the Girl Speak! ????
I cannot believe they are getting me to buy these games for a fourth time (third time on the Switch).
This is pretty awesome! I’ve started to prefer physical releases that come out a while after the digital release since then we could get the final patched game on the gamecard, though not always.
Patches is literally the only reason I’m holding off on buying Chrono Cross physically on Switch.
This reminds me, in the late 90’s I bought a 6 pack of Star Wars games on CD. Think I still have the discs in the box buried in my basement somewhere. Maybe I should dig it out?
For my Switch, I only have the Academy/Outcast release. Commando/Racer is on my list of “soon”, so I might just pick this up.
I’m only seeing the download code on Amazon, not the physical release. It is the lower price, but…
Don’t see it on Amazon just the Digital but it’s not complete.
Still no DLC on that KOTOR 2 game.
Impressive, most impressive… ????
@Bomberman64
maybe you know the answer to my question:
if you get a physical copy after an update comes out, does that physical copy have the update, or no? is there an attempt to replace the copies in stores with updated copies? is there a way to tell?
thanks!
@RudeAnimat0r No. It just doesn’t contain the final DLC that wraps up the story that they promised would come. It’s still the original game with improvements.
@Bizzyb Which honestly sucks. I hope something happens so Switch owners get that dlc.
the only star wars fps i ever played was dark forces II and its not here ???? podracer was mindblowing on dreamcast, maybe the fastest game id ever seen (only fzero x could compete at the time)
