The app’s Busy Book has been update with a number of ways to celebrate the Lunar New Year as the Year of the Tiger turns into the Year of the Rabbit.
In the book, kids 2-6 can explore the section that reflects the joys off friends and family coming together to celebrate the unique foods and traditions of the holiday.
This is the second year that the app is featuring Lunar New Year content after the positive response in 2022.
Both hand-drawn animations and sounds honor the Year of the Rabbit. The Busy Book is designed to be self guided so children can explore at their own pace and hone important skills that support brain development like storytelling, memory, and self-regulation.
Pok Pok Playroom is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
You’ll need a subscription to use all of the app’s features. There are two options—$6.99 per month or $45.99 annually.
After originally launching in mid-2021, Pok Pok Playroom continues to get better with a wide variety of updates and additional toys for kids to play with.
One of the most recent additions, late last year, was Connect the Dots.
The toy uses creativity to help kids better understand shapes, line, patterns, and counting. All of the masterpieces are made in a grid-based screen.
As a great touch, all of the art is saved in the Grown-Ups area of the app so parents can see and share what their child has created.
