They have 100kV/μs minimum common-mode transient immunity (1.5kV common-mode, 25°C), and carry data rates up to 150Mbit/s. Isolation is 5kV for 1 minute.
Called the DCL54xx01 series, they are four-channel devices with different combinations of channel directions, output logic and enable controls.
Four of them have four forward channels, and two have three forward channels and one reverse channel.
Of the four forward channel devices, two have no enable control and two have output enable.
Both the devices with three forward channels and one reverse channel (DCL541A01 and DCL541B01, diagram above) have an input disable.
Of all six, three of the devices’ output logic defaults low, and for the other three high.
Inside are CMOS die and proprietary insulated magnetic couplings with 800ps typical pulse width distortion (Vdd1=Vdd2=5V, 25°C) and 10.9ns signal delay.
Both Vdd1 and Vdd2 can range over 2.25 to 5.5V, and the parts are characterised at supplies of 2.5, 3.3 and 5V.
Operation is over -40 to 110°C, and packaging is SOIC16-W.
Applications are foreseen isolating busses such as SPI in industrial programmable logic controllers, motor controllers and inverters.
