The PH1200A280 range is available with five output voltages: 12, 24, 28, 36 or 48V, with -40 to +20% adjustment to accommodate non-standard voltages. Efficiency is 94% at 100% load with a 280V input.
These converters are 61 x 12.7 x 116.8mm and operate with their base-plates between -40 and +100°C. Three heatsinks (25mm longitudinal fins, 38.1mm longitudinal, 38.1mm transverse) are available for forced-air or convection cooling, and base-plate cooling also allows the units to be used in sealed outdoor enclosures, or with liquid-cooling. Mounting options are M3 tapped holes or 3.3mm plain holes.
A current share circuit is included for higher power, and an OR-ing FET for n+1 redundancy.
Other possible features are remote on-off, remote sense, a 12V auxiliary output and a module good signal.
Protections include over-voltage and over-current, and operation is up to 5,000m altitude.
Isolations are 3kVac input to output, 2.5kVac input to base-plate and 500Vac output to base-plate.
External capacitors and a fuse are expected in a typical application.
Safety certification is to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1, and there is CE and UKCA marking to the Low Voltage and RoHS directives. Warranty is five-years.
The company is expecting use in equipment for semiconductor test, data communications, power transmission, industry and renewable energy.
